Writing blessings for a 福-filling year!

In conjunction with Chinese Lunar New Year and the celebration of SG bicentennial, Library@East likes to invite all staff and students to participate in writing the word “福” (blessing/ happiness/ good fortune).
We will piece together the best 100 written “福” and dedicate this 100 “福” blessings to the celebration of SG bicentennial.  

If you are game and wish to do your part in contributing to the celebration, just drop by Library@East from 23 Jan (Wed) to 1 Feb (Fri), from 10 am to 5 pm.

Fear not, if you don’t know how to write it… 
You can pick up some techniques of writing from Mr Chua (a retired calligrapher) on the following date and time:

 

  Event date :   Wed, 23 Jan 2019
  Time :   11.30 am to 1.30 pm
        Venue :    Library@East Event Hall


Come and join us to write your “福”.
(福 is pronounced “fu”)
