A Cultural Painting Exhibition featuring Batik Art, Warli Art & Chinese Art Painting

You don’t have to go far like an art gallery to admire paintings. Presenting artworks painted by students from Nitec in Fashion Apparel Production and Design, the two classes of students: DH1801G & DH1901A attended cultural art painting workshops on 25 July and 21st August respectively. Through the workshops organised by the People's Association, the students learnt about the SGSecure Pledge and that everyone can play a part to safeguard Singapore.

Let's all start by understanding more about the other cultures and help maintain racial harmony!

Come by the Library soon to catch the students’ works! Short write-ups on batik art, warli art, and Chinese art paintings are also put up alongside an accompanying book display.
Library@Central would like to thank People’s Association for the series of workshops and also to Ms Carol Lin, Lecturer for Nitec in Fashion Apparel Production & Design.
