Romance, Hopes & Dreams: Wedding Ritual Across Cultures Exhibition

We have all been to weddings, but just how much do we know about the significance behind some of the customs and rituals each ethnic group practise in Singapore?

In this exhibition, you will be treated to a visual feast featuring bridal colours, bridal jewellery, bridal floral, and understand the meaning behind these elements.

Meanwhile, you can try your hand at each etching print station which shows the different traditional wedding costumes of the four ethnic races in Singapore and bring your art work home. For the more adventurous, take part in our 8-question quiz by getting all questions correct to win a prize. Try your luck via this link: https://ite-sg.libwizard.com/wedding or scan the QR code below:

You can also find the QR code pasted near the exhibition and in the Library.

Last, to find out more in depth on the different wedding cultural practices, help yourself to the accompanying book display!

All are welcome.
