Library@East presents the second part of art medium, i.e. watercolor painting, by our very own CE Visual Arts Club students.
Watercolor painting requires a little paint pigments and skilful manipulation of the amount of water to achieve different shades. Brush strokes also have to skilful – where the brush ends, there tends to be a bit more pigment depending on how the brush strokes end. By varying the weight of the brush strokes, amount of water and paint pigments, different beautiful effects are achieved.
Come and see the beautiful and versatile art pieces painted by our students.
Take a close look at the displays – can you see how the brush strokes created the paintings?
