In-Conversation - The Making of the Moving Memories

Library@Central & Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) jointly organised a Talk cum sharing session by the designers of the Moving Memories Exhibition (an art installation) which is on display at ITE College Central from 17 Jul to 31 Jul 2018. (Click here for more information)

The event : In Conversation - The Making of Moving Memories Exhibition, was held on Wednesday 25 Jul 2018.  A total of about 28 students and lecturers from the Space Design (Interior & Exhibition) course attended the event in Library@Central Learning Studio 1.

Session 1

Title: In Conversation – The Making of Moving Memories 
Speakers: Mr Chuan Yeo and Mr Deric Shen 
Moderator: Ms Jennifer Chor, Head of NAFA Library 
Time: 3pm 
Synopsis: The designers of Moving Memories, Chuan Yeo and Deric Shen had a dialogue with Jennifer Chor and the audience to share the concept behind the artwork, and their experiences and journey from ideation to the completion of the installation. 
  
Session 2

Title: Design and Media @ NAFA 
Speaker: Ms Winnie Tan, Programme Leader (Advertising and Graphic Communication)
Guest: Jeremy Ng Bek Boon (Nitec in digital media design: Interactive Media, 2014)
Time: 4.00pm 
Synopsis: An overview of the Design and Media courses conducted at NAFA, for students who are interested to pursue a Diploma course upon completion of their studies at ITE.  One of ITE’s alumni, Jeremy Ng, also shared his learning experiences and transitional journey from ITE to NAFA, as well as what his future plans are.

Ms Jennifer Chor, NAFA Head Library, moderated the sharing session.
The panel speakers were Mr Deric Shen and Mr Chuan Yeo, the designers of the Moving Memories Exhibition
