Mr Robin Ngiam is a conservation practitioner at National Parks Board (NParks) and he will give a talk on Singapore’s biodiversity in general and how we are conserving it.

His early career in NParks entailed biodiversity surveys and monitoring, habitat restoration and enhancement, Environmental Impact Assessment, and international engagement. Currently, he manages part of the Central Catchment Nature Reserve where he oversees operational work such as amenities maintenance, horticulture, legislation enforcement, research and outreach.

As a conservation optimist, Robin believes humanity’s gradual awakening of environmental consciousness bodes well for this living planet.
