About the speaker:
Mr Steven Quek has a wealth of insights and experience on endurance running having coached various schools and national athletes. He holds a wide portfolio including track and field co-ordinator at the National Youth Sports Institute and adjunct lecturer at the National Institute of Education, and has held clinics and workshops for marathoners. He authored “Marathon: Training Smart” which covers topics such as nutrition, cross-training methods and recovery, all relevant for our local conditions.
